Our Real Estate Agent Referral Program

Every real estate professional eventually encounters a property or seller whose needs do not fit comfortably within the traditional listing process.

The property may be unusual, difficult to price, inherited, part of an estate, commercially oriented, or in need of a firm sales timeline. The seller may want to avoid months of showings, repeated negotiations, financing contingencies, and uncertainty.

That does not mean you have to walk away from the opportunity—or become an auction specialist yourself.

Through the Double A Auction & Realty Agent Referral Program, licensed real estate professionals can refer qualified sellers to our firm and receive 30% of the commission earned by Double A Auction & Realty when the referred transaction successfully closes.

How the Referral Program Works

1. Introduce Us to the Seller

Connect the prospective seller with Double A Auction & Realty and identify yourself as the referring agent partner.

The referral should be documented before we begin working directly with the seller so the relationship and compensation are clearly established from the beginning.

2. We Evaluate the Property

We speak with the seller, review the property, and discuss the seller’s goals, timing, expectations, and circumstances.

Not every property should be sold at auction. Our first responsibility is to determine whether the auction method is an appropriate fit for the seller and the property.

3. We Handle the Auction Process

When the seller chooses to move forward, Double A Auction & Realty manages the auction from beginning to end. Our work may include:

  • Property evaluation and auction planning
  • Preparation of the auction agreement and bidder terms
  • Photography and property information
  • Advertising and marketing
  • Online auction setup
  • Open houses and property inspections
  • Bidder registration and communication
  • Conducting the auction
  • Contract execution and deposit collection
  • Coordination through closing

You make the introduction. We handle the auction process.

4. You Receive 30% of Our Commission

When the referred seller’s transaction successfully closes, the referring agent partner receives 30% of the commission earned by Double A Auction & Realty.

This is a percentage of our commission—not 30% of the property’s sale price.

You Do Not Have to Become an Auctioneer

Selling real estate at auction requires a specialized process.

Auctions involve specific agreements, bidder terms, marketing strategies, registration requirements, deposits, auction technology, extension procedures, and closing coordination. The process is different from placing a property in the MLS and waiting for offers.

Our referral program allows you to provide your client with access to a specialized auction team without having to manage the auction yourself. We explain the process, establish the terms, market the property, manage prospective bidders, conduct the auction, and coordinate the resulting transaction.

When Might an Auction Referral Make Sense?

An auction may be worth considering when your client has:

  • An inherited property the family does not intend to keep
  • Estate real estate that needs to be converted into cash
  • Land, farms, commercial property, or investment real estate
  • A unique property that is difficult to price
  • Multiple parcels that may benefit from being offered individually and in combinations
  • A property that has been listed without producing an acceptable offer
  • A need for a clearly defined marketing and sales schedule
  • A desire to sell as-is
  • A desire to avoid traditional financing, appraisal, or inspection contingencies
  • A property attracting interest from several prospective buyers
  • A situation in which competitive bidding may help reveal the market

An auction is not limited to distressed properties. It can also be an effective option for sellers who want a structured process, broad market exposure, competitive bidding, and a defined date of sale.

Your Client Relationship Still Matters

Referring a client to an auction specialist does not diminish the relationship you have built with that client.

It demonstrates that you are willing to recommend the service best suited to the client’s situation rather than trying to force every property into the same sales method.

You remain the trusted professional who recognized the seller’s needs and connected the client with an appropriate resource. We respect the source of every referral and work to provide professional service that reflects well on our referring agent partners.

Why Partner With Double A Auction & Realty?

Double A Auction & Realty is a licensed auction firm and real estate brokerage specializing in the sale of real estate by auction.

We do not treat auctions as an occasional addition to traditional brokerage services. We only do auctions.

Our process is designed to:

  • Establish a defined sales schedule
  • Create urgency among prospective buyers
  • Provide buyers with time to complete due diligence before bidding
  • Expose the property to the market
  • Encourage competitive bidding
  • Sell under clearly stated terms
  • Move the successful transaction toward a contingency-free closing

The seller receives access to an experienced auction team, while the referring agent partner is compensated for creating the relationship.

Turn an Unusual Opportunity Into a Partnership

When a property falls outside your normal specialty, geographic area, or preferred type of assignment, you do not have to simply turn the seller away.

Instead, introduce the seller to Double A Auction & Realty.

We will evaluate the property, explain the process, and determine whether an auction is appropriate. When the referred transaction successfully closes, we pay the referring agent partner 30% of our earned commission.

It is a practical way to serve the client, preserve the professional relationship, and receive compensation from an opportunity you might otherwise have declined.
